Developed and implemented in four Eastern countries, the CHOICE project has a distinct focus on capacity building. It is mostly addressed to NGOs and non-profit organisations concerned with the preservation, promotion and re-interpretation of Cultural Heritage. CHOICE's  ultimate aim is to strenghten the presence of these organisations in local communities by increasing their capacity  to take a more acrive part in policy dialogue on heritage issues. Related to this cpacity building exercise, another aim is to foster discussion about heritage interpretation, identity, Eurpeanization especially in conlfict areas.
